The Creative Health & Wellbeing Institute is built upon
three foundational goals:
We plan to expand our creative therapeutic services to include art therapy, dance/movement therapy, drama therapy, sand tray therapy,
and other modalities as we grow
We understand and continue to educate ourselves on the cultural, societal, political, and systemic factors which have historically impacted marginalized communities including (but not limited to): black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC); lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA+) persons; immigrants; and other oppressed groups of people.
We see you. We stand with you.
We strive to practice compassion and empathy towards all of our clients/families/partners regardless of affiliations, beliefs, abilities, and identities.
Kevin R. Budd, MM, MT-BC (he/they) is dedicated to meet the needs of his community and determined to redefine what mental healthcare can look like for individuals, families, and communities.
In addition to his nearly seven years of direct clinical experiences as a board-certified music therapist, Kevin has spent a majority of his adult life supporting the development of various programs including his work on the executive board of the Western Region of the American Music Therapy Association, expanding expressive therapy services within mental health and educational-partnered settings at Children's Hospital of Orange County, and presenting to schools, agencies, organizations, and associations on the need for accessible,
creative, and holistic healthcare.
Kevin is excited about the impact The Creative Health and Wellbeing Institute can have on individuals, families, professionals, and the community through creative healing and opportunities for authentic connection.
